The Place for Higher Learning and Research Centre at Seth Kesarimal Porwal College, Kamptee is a recognized doctoral research centre affiliated with Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur. The centre is committed to fostering a dynamic research environment that encourages innovation, scholarly inquiry, and the advancement of knowledge across diverse academic disciplines. At present, 13 recognized research supervisors are actively engaged in guiding doctoral candidates across two approved research centres within the institution, in addition to collaborative research supervision through other recognized research centres of the university.

These centres collectively support interdisciplinary and domain-specific research activities. Since its establishment, the centre has successfully contributed to the academic community by facilitating the award of 10 doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees. Currently, 12 research scholars are pursuing their doctoral research under the guidance of recognized supervisors, either within the institutional research centres or in collaboration with other affiliated research centres of the university. The institution continuously strives to strengthen its research ecosystem by encouraging innovative investigations, interdisciplinary collaboration, and impactful scholarly contributions.
