INTRODUCTION

Seth Kesrimal Porwal Arts, Commerce and Science College, Kamptee , Distt. Nagpur (Maha.)was established in "July 1965". From the year of establishment, Hindi subject classes were started at the graduate level in the institution. From the year of establishment. The departmental activities were successfully conducted under the able guidance of Dr.Ratan Pahadi Sir. After the retirement of Dr. Ratan Pahadi Sir, Dr.Vijayalakshmi Ramteke became the head of the departmenton 21-12-1987. Dr.Vijayalakshmi Ramteke has been working on the post of Dean in RTM Nagpur University . He retired in the year 30-06-2016. On 18 September 2019 . Dr. Vikas Vitthalrao Kamdi was appointed as the head of Hindi department. The Departments Mission is to improve knowledge of language and literature in remote areas students.
